Michael August has been working as a professional entertainer and private teacher for nearly twenty years. During the two decades that Michael has worked in the industry, he has played over 400 private gigs, graduation parties, dinner parties, wedding ceremonies and receptions. With a wide catalogue of music ranging from classical music to modern fingerstyle guitar with a mixture of music from any decade, Michael is sure to succeed with all who require his services.
Beyond his performance life, Michael teaches private guitar and bass lessons to people of all ages, with a career that has helped dozens of players realize their dreams of becoming educated and exceptional musicians.
Michael resides in St. Paul, MN with his fiancé Tegan, and his adorable cat, Midna. He enjoys hiking both State and National Parks, video games, disc golf, and traveling.
